Oberer Letten is a popular public river bathing spot on the Limmat in central Zürich. It features a 400 m long swimming channel in the river, a 2 m diving platform, sun terraces and facilities such as showers and changing rooms — and it’s free to enter. The concrete bathing structure dates from the 1950s and is a well-loved local hangout on warm days, with space for lounging, beach volleyball and socialising along the water’s edge.
