The Hardaupark is a modern public park in Zürich’s Aussersihl / Hard quarter, created between 2009 and 2012 on former parking and open land between the Hardau high‑rise complex and the surrounding low‑rise blocks. It serves as a quartierplatz and schoolyard extension, with lawns, play areas, seating zones, and the striking sculpture “Y” by Sislej Xhafa as a central landmark.

Surrounding area
The park lies just south of the Hardau residential complex (Hardau II), the famous group of four high‑rise towers on Bullingerstrasse / Norastrasse, often called the “Bullinger‑Häuser” because of their address. These 1970s towers, designed by Max P. Kollbrunner, were built to ease the housing shortage and offer compact flats mainly for older couples and singles, forming a dense, high‑density neighbourhood around the park and the nearby Letzigrund stadium.
