Europaallee Zürich is a new mixed‑use urban quarter built directly behind Zürich Hauptbahnhof (main station), stretching from the listed Sihlpost building to Langstrasse in District 4.

It covers more than 80,000 m² of former railway and postal land and was developed in stages from 2009 to 2020 as a high‑density, largely pedestrian‑oriented district with shops, restaurants, offices (including Google), apartments, a hotel, and the Pädagogische Hochschule Zürich (teacher‑training college).

The area follows a master plan by Kees Christiaanse and features diverse architecture from several renowned firms, creating a clear identity with two rows of ginkgo trees along the main street and generous public spaces that connect the station area with the surrounding neighbourhoods.
